Genesis 45:8. It was not you who sent me here, but God. -
This scene concludes one of the Bible's most moving stories, which takes nine chapters to tell. Joseph, the puffed up, "Daddy likes me best" brother, had been sold into slavery by his jealous brothers who hoped never to see him again. He ends up in Egypt, eventually becoming Pharoah's right-hand man. When famine strikes back home, the brothers seek grain in Egypt. It is Joseph who is in charge of dispensing the grain, but the brothers do not recognize him. Then comes this scene in which Joseph identifies himself and says it was all God's doing. All God's doing? As we face the joys and sorrows of life, it seems easy to give God thanks and praise for the good times. But in the difficult times, we may ask how God could let this situation happen to us. Father, help us to realize that each situation you give us is for a purpose. Help us to realize that all things are by your hand and with faith will lead us closer to you.
Lord, thank you for my prayer partners and friends. Please hear their words and grant their needs. Please protect, guide and bless them, their family and all who come asking your mercy. "Some section hands on a British railroad found a thrush's nest under a rail. Peacefully sitting on her eggs, the hen was undisturbed by the roar of the fast trains above and around her. Someone has written a little verse which goes:
"Said the robin to the sparrow,
'I should really like to know,
Why these anxious human beings
Rush about and worry so.'
Said the sparrow to the robin,
'Friend, I think that it must be,
That they have no heavenly Father

Jesus used the carefree attitude of the birds to underscore the fact that worrying is unnatural. I am learning in my own life, day by day, to keep my mind centered on Christ, and the worries and anxieties and concerns of the world pass, and nothing but "perfect peace" is left in the human heart. God has taken the responsibility for our care and worry. Lord Jesus, I'm happiest when I'm fully trusting You. This day help me to be constantly grateful for Your care and faithfulness."

healing/finances -
morning everyone and praise god for he is good and for all the many blessings he has given to me, thank u jesus!
i would like to lift up my children today as they start school tomorrow and i know they are not looking forward to it and they are nervous, please pray for a good day tomorrow and they will all enjoy it.
please continue to pray for my hubby who lost his job almost 2 weeks ago, please pray for him to find another good job soon as he was our only income provider and we have 4 children to feed.
please pray for me as im still not sleeping at night and i have had a real bad sore throat/sinus infection, gastritis and the usual other stuff going on, please pray for relief and healing of my body and for better days to come. please pray for our family today and for our finances, etc.

Evelyn's Hardships and Incarceration -

Father, I place Evelyn in Your hands. She is a emotionally handicapped adult of 54, who has been placed i na situation by those stronger in the mind than she. Friday night she was arrested and she has shut down emotionally. At 54, she has the maturity of a 15 year old. It is difficult knowing she is afraid and in trouble. I pray that whatever the situation, that You will help her to understand the seriousness of her troubles, and that the prosecutor, and her defense attorney have compassion when dealing with Evelyn. Wrap Your arms around my sister Lord, and let her feel Your comfort. Father, please Bless this family and help us to be able to help Evelyn. Forgive me Father, for I have sinned. My heart is heavy with fears and worry about the sins I have committed and my ingratitude to You for the life of Your Son, on the Cross. Healing of the hurting heart, mind, and soul -

Father God, Jesus Christ, the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the angels and saints... I praise you and your heavenly saints St. Jude, St. Raphael, St. Michael, and St. Gabriel, St. Dymphna etc..
I immensely THANK YOU for all you have recently blessed me with.. Please protect me and guide my actions, words, thoughts, and feelings in this new job and the purchase of the car.. please only allow what is of YOU to direct my every actions, thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and words.... etc..
Father, although I may have these blessings.. I feel so alone and hurt... I feel like my depression is coming back again and it feels like a choking feeling in my throat. Im afraid to go back on meds. I dont want to feel so miserable, angry, impatient, lonely, sad, depressed, hurt, unstable etc. Anymore. Please help me and continue to heal me completely and not have to rely on meds anymore.. please Father.. please.
I also pray for Giovanni and I. I know G is going thru alot now.. and he needs ur healing power as much as I do.. please heal him completely, our families and our relationship so that we can finally find our way back together again and continue with our marriage plans. Please Father, G and I are two hurting children and we Desperately need your help to put our lives, hearts, minds, and our relationship back together again. Nana to gain the confidence to let go -

Dear Lord,
My Nana has had a stroke. This follows her accident in January, which she has just recovered from. She is a strong Irish woman who loves you and believes in all of your words, however she is so afraid to let go. I think that she wants to wait until her children mend their resentment of eachother. I think that she also fears that you might now welcome her, that you will find something that she did that wasn't right. She is my rock Lord, she raised me when my mother couldn't and in her own way has supported me my whole life. I beg you Lord to either let her heal and regain her mind or to give her to confidence to let go. I do not mean to sound harsh, but I believe her when she says that she is tired and wants to go home. Lord her life has difficult, from bringing her family to the US to raising three children on her own to losing one child and her husband. Lord please bless her and let her know that I love her and as she supports me I support her. I want her to remain the classy, strong, intelligent woman she is and was... Living in the hospital doesn't do this for her and I just want her to be at the rest she deserves. I beg you Lord, please, please, please grant her what her wish it, whatever it may be.
