Say 24 Glory Be's, each followed by the following invocation: "St. Therese of the Child Jesus, pray for us."
The "Glory be" praising the Holy Trinity is said twenty-four times each of the nine days, in thanksgiving for each year in the life of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, pray for us.
Some have added the prayer below at the end of the 24, but this is optional:
Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost, I thank Thee for all the blessings and favors Thou hast showered upon the soul of Thy servant Therese of the Child Jesus, during the twenty-four years she spent here on earth, and in consideration of the merits of this Thy most beloved Saint, I beseech Thee to grant me this favor, if it is in accordance with Thy most Holy Will and is not an obstacle to my salvation.
Note from Donor: This novena can be said at any time. However, the 9th through the 17th of each month is recommended to join with others making the novena. This was first said by a priest who was astounded that on the third day his prayer was dramatically answered. That's how it spread. He came up with the number 24 for each of the years of St. Therese's short life. That's St. TheresE, not to be confused with St. TeresA of Avila (no H).
