thanks for your concern and advice - but you should know that though i have tons of stress i dnt burden him with them. in fact we rarely talk about them. the fact that he is there and he loves me is what helps me through it nt him listening to me. you know just a smiling face to greet you and a kind word or two of meaningless things even is what helps me through it all. that fact that i dnt fell alone when im with him is what helps

Relief from pain -

Thank you to everyone who prayed for me for relief from the severe pain in my leg and the subsequent headache. Although I am still having trouble with the leg, the headache is gone and I had a better night's sleep. I feel the power of your prayers.

My brother Brett asked me to please thank everyone of you for your prayers!! He was close to death 3 times in the past 6 weeks and I put him on the site last week....the tests came back today that the infection is dying and his lungs are working better than they have since Feb! He is cleared for surgery tomorrow and he has accepted the "Father,Son and Holy Ghost"...I can't tell you how much it has meant to me to have your prayers! I love you all!

Blessed Prayer Warriors, I posted yesterday and asked for prayer from all of you to pray for me that I would get a job from a temporary agency that had called me for a possible position. Unfortunately, I did not get the position, as the job was not on the bus line and my car is broken down. I still want to say THANK YOU though for all of your prayers. Perhaps, God has a better plan for my life. One good thing did happen though, I did call my sister and asked her to give me bus fare just in case I did get the job; she said that she would. This in itself was a blessing because we had been estranged and not talking to one another. Much to our delight, his vision became markedly improved tonight as he was reading the new Christian magazine I just started subscribing to. JEHOVAH-ROPHE does heal indeed. I have been researching the many names of God, how He referred to Himself in the Old Testament, how His faithful followers described Him throughout the bible...He is the God of healing among many other glorious titles. A prayer for a Scholarship/A Desperate Plea for Help -
I just wanted to say thank you to all of you that have said prayers for my Scholarsip. I have not figured out how I am going to get the funds for school, all I know is that I believe with all my heart that I will be in school in one months time.
I just have to believe it. I really just have to believe it.

Right now you are paving the way for me and you are instilling in me the skills to do the very best job possible in this field. I know that you are reviewing the wages of this position Lord, to make sure that I get my fair share. Which of course, Father. I intend on gladly tithing to show you my appreciation of all you have done and are doing for me. I really wouldn't have known exactly where to go to find this opportunity Lord. I have thought about it and thought about it, but my thinking was all to no avail. Then I did Jesus, what I should have done in the first place, I brought my needs and the desires of my heart to you. So thank you Father God for looking out for me, thank you for presenting this opportunity to me and thank you for letting me be the perfect candidate for for this position. This job is something I always have wanted to do, it has always been something very close to my heart. Of course I know you know this because you know everything. I think you were just waiting for me to bring it to you and for me to quit trying to make things happen on my own. You're right Father, that is exactly what I was doing, I was excluding you from my plan and getting absolutely NO WHERE. I guess this is what happens anytime we exclude you from anything, all we do is sit and fret and worry and spin our wheels; but look at me now, I am going full steam ahead and all because the of love of you. Thank you so much Carol and all the other Blessed people of God who have so graciously taken the time to email me. I am truly so touched by all of your words and receive such inspiration from them. I pray to our Dear Savior above to make each day a new Beginning for each of us. When we become born again in Christ we leave the old (yesterday) behind and start anew...TODAY. That is what I believe JESUS wants from us; he wants us to be set free from anything that may have happened in the past. Sadly, we are the ones that hold on to our yesterdays, not GOD. Upon the first utterance of repentance he forgives us and sets us free; he is a loving God who never wants us to carry our burdens. No matter how heavy they might be, he carries them upon HIS back so we won't be weighed down in grief. How wonderful is that! I pray Carol that each and everyone of you on this site will have all your needs met through the love of Jesus, and I deeply pray that we will all be able one day to look at others through the eyes of Christ the way Christ so lovingly and caring looks at us. We are shaken but we have not fallen for he is always there holding us up with his powerful mighty right hand. Praise be to God for the all the wonderous things he does in our lives, praise be to God for honoring his word and taking care if his children. When we are weak, he is strong, all he wants is for us to keep holding his hand. In doing so we give our Lord the assurance that we trust in him, knowing that he will never let us fall. Well things didn't turn our how I wanted them to in terms of borrowing monies. But at least I did get an extension on one of my bills. Hooray--thank you GOD!
Not great, but at least I can hustle up the monies somehow before September 1st.
God, please help me with my other bills and rent too. Send some funds to me. I will continue praying to you for aid and assistance for financial help, and to get a contact from M. within the week. Oh Father, please let me hear from M. again, and please let him be nice to me and understanding. I really care for this man. Let him open up to me and share his feelings I know he has for me.
Father I *heart* you, and know *heart* me too, or else I would never have gotten THIS far!
